The Alaska Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is a free transition program for youth with disabilities between the age of 14-24. The YLF brings together young people with disabilities from across Alaska to build leadership skills, gain confidence, and prepare for their future.
Through interactive workshops, guest speakers, and hands-on activities, you will explore important topics like self-advocacy, teamwork, disability history and rights, assistive technology, career & education supports, navigating benefits, and more. The program also includes a community service outing, giving you a chance to make a positive impact while building teamwork and leadership experience.
The YLF is more than just a learning experience—it’s an opportunity to connect with peers and mentors who understand your journey and can help guide you toward success. You’ll meet professionals and explore real-world resources that can support your goals. If you’re ready to grow as a leader and take charge of your future, we encourage you to Apply Here!
