Our First Aid, CPR, and AED training gives youth real skills they can use in real life. Participants learn how to respond in emergencies, practice hands-on techniques, and build the confidence to help others when it matters most.
This course is designed for youth and young adults with disabilities or other life challenges and is taught in a supportive, interactive environment. Instruction is paced, practical, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. Youth are encouraged to ask questions, practice skills multiple times, and learn in ways that work for them.

Training includes CPR, AED use, basic First Aid, and emergency response decision-making. Participants leave with a nationally recognized certification and a stronger sense of confidence, responsibility, and readiness.
This program can be offered as a stand-alone course or as part of school, transition, leadership, or workforce readiness programs.
First Aid Kit upon Completion!
Participants who complete the course receive a free First Aid kit and CPR mask to support continued practice and personal safety. The picture of the First aid kit should go with this sentence.

A hands-on First Aid, CPR, and AED certification course designed to help youth build confidence, responsibility, and life-saving skills.
The course is designed for youth with disabilities or other life challenges, but it is open to any youth who benefit from a supportive learning environment. We also welcome youth who experience other life challenges.
This training is offered at no cost to participants with disabilities who are between 14-21. It is between $20 & $50 for others. $20 for the certification & $50 for certification and First Aid kit.
Training locations vary across Alaska and may be coordinated with other programs to support instructor travel and class size requirements. Training can also be taken virtually with in-person skills demonstration & testing.
Participants receive a nationally recognized First Aid, CPR, and AED certification upon successful completion.
The course length may vary depending on group needs and delivery format. 1-2 days or 8-12 hours
